(U393 WARPERS MOSS LANE, BURSCOUGH, WEST LANCASHIRE
BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) NOTICE
2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council consider it
necessary or expedient by reason of works being executed on the following
length of road that the prohibition should come into force without delay under
Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which
will temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this Notice.
1. No person shall cause any class of traffic to proceed over that length of
U393 Warpers Moss Lane, Burscough from a point approximately 25m
North East of the property Fair View for an approximate distance of 50m
in a South Westerly direction.
2. Nothing in this notice shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out
of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative from 0915 hours on Friday 7
th July 2023
until 2359 hours on Tuesday 11th July 2023 or until completion of the
works within this period.
4. A diversion will be signed locally.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow urgent service restoration works
to be carried out by Network Plus on behalf of Electricity North West.
